Neuronplex ("we", "our", "us") operates the SpeakRoo mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information you authorise those services to share.

Audio Recordings

When you use SpeakRoo's practice features, you record audio of your speaking. These recordings are uploaded to our servers for AI-powered analysis and feedback. Recordings are stored securely and associated with your account.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the app, including practice sessions completed, scores, streaks, and feature interactions. This helps us improve the app and provide personalised progress tracking.

Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• AI Transcription and Analysis: Your audio recordings are processed by Google Gemini for transcription and delivery analysis.
• AI Feedback and Grading: Transcriptions are processed by Anthropic Claude to generate scores, feedback, and coaching insights.
• AI Roleplay: During roleplay sessions, your transcribed responses are processed by Anthropic Claude to generate contextual follow-up questions.
• Text-to-Speech: AI roleplay persona voices are generated using OpenAI's text-to-speech service.
• Progress Tracking: Your practice data is used to generate analytics, trends, and coaching reports visible within the app.
• Service Improvement: Aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us improve features and user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using the following services:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Account information, session data, scores, and app data are stored in Google Firestore.
• Cloudflare R2: Audio recordings are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
• Cloudflare Workers: Our backend API runs on Cloudflare's edge network.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated API access, and secure token-based authentication via Firebase Auth.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate SpeakRoo:

• Firebase Authentication: Secure sign-in (Apple, Google, email/password)
• Google Gemini: Audio transcription and delivery analysis
• Anthropic Claude: AI grading, feedback, roleplay conversations, and coaching reports
• OpenAI: Text-to-speech for roleplay persona voices
• PostHog: Anonymous product analytics
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and receipt validation

Each third-party service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Audio recordings are retained to provide session history and progress tracking features.

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. When you delete your account, all associated data — including audio recordings, session history, and personal information — is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account

7. Children's Privacy

SpeakRoo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on this page. Your continued use of SpeakRoo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
