Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SpeakRoo mobile application ("App") operated by Neuronplex ("we", "our", "us"). By using SpeakRoo, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

SpeakRoo provides AI-powered speaking practice and feedback tools. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the App beyond its intended interface
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts

3. Subscriptions and Payments

SpeakRoo offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect on their next renewal.

4. AI-Generated Content

SpeakRoo uses artificial intelligence to generate transcriptions, scores, feedback, coaching insights, and roleplay conversations. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness:

• AI-generated content is provided for educational and practice purposes only.
• Scores and feedback are algorithmic assessments and should not be taken as definitive evaluations of your abilities.
• AI roleplay personas are fictional characters. Their responses do not represent the views of Neuronplex or any real person.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the audio recordings and content you create using SpeakRoo. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process your content for the purpose of providing the service (transcription, analysis, feedback, and progress tracking).

We do not use your recordings to train AI models. Your content is processed solely to deliver the service to you.

6. Intellectual Property

SpeakRoo, including its design, features, scenarios, and content, is the intellectual property of Neuronplex. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep SpeakRoo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neuronplex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of SpeakRoo. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of SpeakRoo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
